Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in St Paul, MN to safeguard clients across healthcare locations. You will monitor areas, deter incidents, manage access, and deliver strong customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

This daytime schedule emphasizes steady shifts, with a pay rate of $19.48 per hour. A valid driver’s license and driving history are required to perform this role at our healthcare site.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing patients and visitors to appropriate areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
