Job summary

Allied Universal® in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Patrol to serve clients across healthcare settings and other industries. You will monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key duties include customer service to patients and staff, responding calmly to incidents and emergencies, and conducting regular patrols of interiors, exteriors, and perimeters.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and escalating concerns to designated personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
