Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Service in Washington, DC. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, assist with badge and access control, and deliver excellent customer service to employees and visitors in a technology, media, and telecom environment.

The role emphasizes a people-first approach, integrity, and collaboration within an agile security team.

Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred.
Access control/badge experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials per site procedures, and report irregularities to supervisors or client representatives.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following post orders and escalation procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate information to supervisors and client representatives.
