Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Springfield, VA for an unarmed patrol and customer engagement role. You will provide client service, monitor access points, and conduct routine patrols across distribution areas, with emphasis on safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following post orders and escalation protocols.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
