Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver) in New York, NY. You will provide security and customer service at a government services location, conducting patrols and ensuring authorized access.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, security experience, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government services location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, entry points, public-facing service areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to assigned areas and verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly, and document activities for site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security activities and share information with leadership.
