Job summary

Earlylearningleaders in Carrollton, TX seeks a Full-Time Toddler Teacher to nurture children 18-30 months in a safe, calm, and loving classroom. You will follow daily routines, support language development, social-emotional growth, and independence, while building strong relationships with families and coworkers.

Responsibilities include caring for meals, diapering, naps, transitions, and engaging children with developmentally appropriate activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a toddler classroom or licensed Child Care Center required.
• Meets DFPS requirements for employment in a licensed Child Care Center.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, patient, nurturing, and professional.
• Able to work within an established classroom structure.
• This role includes lifting, carrying, sitting on the floor, bending, and active supervision throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care in a safe and responsive classroom
• Support meals, diapering/toileting routines, naps, transitions, and daily routines
• Use Frog Street Curriculum to support early learning and development
• Encourage early language, social-emotional growth, self-help skills, and independence
• Engage children through meaningful interactions, play, and age-appropriate learning
• Observe and respond to each child's developmental needs, cues, and routines
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Maintain family communication, classroom records, daily logs, and required documentation
• Follow DFPS Minimum Standards and support Texas Rising Star expectations
• Work collaboratively with leadership and coworkers
• Model professionalism, reliability, and flexibility
