Thrive Golden is seeking an enthusiastic assistant preschool teacher to join our play-based program in Golden, CO. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day, with a benefits package included.

You will work closely with the program director and lead teacher to support children through inquiry-based activities and reflective practice. Our ideal candidate embraces lifelong learning, values the joy of learning through play, and meets Colorado requirements for Early Childhood Assistants.

Competenze

• Must meet or exceed Colorado requirements for Early Childhood Assistant/Aide.
• Experience with play-based learning encouraged.
• Willingness to participate in training and background check.

• Assist the lead teacher in developing and implementing inquiry-based curriculum and documentation.
• Cultivate a learning environment that supports intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and character development.
• Enforce classroom rules and safety procedures.
• Conduct ongoing observation, assessment, and documentation of students’ learning experiences.
• Support families as partners in their child’s learning and involvement in the classroom.
• Plan for equipment and supply needs with lead teachers within the budget.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings as scheduled.
• Perform other tasks to create a strong educational environment.
