Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking an Assistant Teacher for a full-time role in the Golden, CO area, working with Toddlers. The position involves hands-on activities, maintaining open communication with parents about daily milestones, and ensuring a safe, clean classroom by following Bright Horizons’ procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED, and 1 year of childcare experience is preferred; a CDA/AA/Bachelor’s in early education is also preferred.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and company
• 18 years of age with a HS diploma or GED is required
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool is preferred
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or nearby locations
