Job summary

Geauga Metropolitan Housing Authority is seeking a full-time Tier 3 Facility Maintenance Technician in Chardon, OH. You will perform advanced repairs across multiple building systems, coordinate work orders, and travel between five Geauga County properties to ensure safety, functionality and resident readiness.

This role requires 5+ years of progressive maintenance experience and mastery of at least two trades (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in building maintenance.
• Advanced skills in at least two trades (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Ability to work across Geauga County and manage on-site maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced repairs across building systems to code and standards.
• Coordinate and complete work orders with safety, efficiency and quality.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to support REAC/NSPIRE readiness.
