Qualifications

• High school/equivalent diploma and one-year related work experience or two years’ work experience without a diploma.
• Must be able to operate a cash register, make correct changes for items sold and be bondable.
• Ability to comprehend written job descriptions, cleaning instructions and material safety data sheets.
• Must be a team player, a self-starter, and perform well with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and other staff in a manner which promotes positive relationships.
• Sort donated items and price them for display.
• Place donated items on racks/shelves for display and promotional windows.
• Assist in loading/unloading the store’s truck, customers’ vehicles, and/or donors’ vehicles.
• Perform clerk/cashier activities and help promote store sales.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and assist Store Manager with scheduling and workload planning.
• Supervise employees and volunteers to ensure productivity and quality of work.
• Safeguard cash and report daily sales to the Business Manager.
