Job summary

UW Credit Union is hiring a Full-Time Teller for the Verona branch to provide member-focused service and accurately handle teller transactions.

You will build relationships with members, understand their financial goals, and promote UWCU products and services as appropriate. This full-time role requires at least one year of customer service experience and a strong team orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Confidence with cash handling and transactions.
• Demonstrates ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
• Team player that can confidently jump in where and when you are needed.
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment.

• Welcome and assist members at our Verona branch, representing UW Credit Union.
• Strive to meet performance goals in line with our Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
• Keep a good understanding of all UW Credit Union products and services.
• Ensure accurate and efficient handling of member requests at the Teller line.
• Follow UW Credit Union's Cash Management policies and procedures.
• Investigate potential errors in Teller transactions and communicate with affected members.
• Build relationships with members, understand their needs, offer recommendations, and make referrals when appropriate.
• Look for ways to exceed our members' expectations.
• Work with your branch team to address member and branch needs.
