Job summary

UW Credit Union is hiring a Full-Time Teller for the State Street branch. You will accurately handle teller transactions, assist members, and identify opportunities to recommend UWCU products aligned with members' financial goals.

As part of the branch team, you will build trusted relationships, strive to meet sales and service goals, and follow cash management policies while delivering outstanding service to diverse members. A high school diploma and 1 year of customer service are required.

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Cash handling confidence and ability to work with diverse members.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
• Team player who can work autonomously when needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist members at the State Street branch.
• Meet performance goals in line with Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
• Understand UWCU products and refer when appropriate.
• Ensure accurate teller transactions and cash handling.
• Follow UWCU's Cash Management policies and procedures.
• Investigate potential errors in teller transactions and communicate with members.
• Build relationships with members and exceed expectations.
• Collaborate with the branch team to address member and branch needs.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and assist members at our State Street branch, representing UW Credit Union.

• Keep a good understanding of all UW Credit Union products and services.
• Ensure accurate and efficient handling of member requests at the Teller line.
• Follow UW Credit Union's Cash Management policies and procedures.
• Investigate potential errors in Teller transactions and communicate with affected members.
• Build relationships with members, understand their needs, offer recommendations, and make referrals when appropriate.
• Look for ways to exceed our members' expectations.
• Work with your branch team to address member and branch needs.
