Lebanon Federal Credit Union in Lebanon, PA is seeking a Full-Time Teller to greet members and process transactions with accuracy. This role typically covers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday.

You will balance cash, verify identities, and assist members with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments while cross-selling products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 0-1 years in a financial setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math and cash handling accuracy.
• Ability to learn banking software and 10-key adding machine.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members in a courteous, professional manner.
• Process a variety of transactions including cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and card payments.
• Verify member identity and endorsements according to policies.
• Balance cash drawer daily and research discrepancies.
• Ensure teller station is stocked with forms and supplies.
• Answer phone inquiries and assist members.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

LFCU is looking for an enthusiastic, positive, friendly, and high-energy person to be a Full-Time Tellerat one of our Lebanon locations. Ateller at LFCU is responsible for making our members feel welcome while processing accurate and efficient transactions. This positiontypically works 40 hours Monday through Friday and every other Saturday.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous, professional and timely manner.
• Provide prompt, accurate and efficient member transactions.
• Process a variety of financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan payments, credit card payments and other member transactions.
• Follow credit union policies and procedures including properly verifying member identity and endorsements.
• Responsible for managing and balancing cash drawer on a daily basis.
• Research and resolve cash drawer discrepancies.
• Uphold a high level of accuracy and maintain member security.
• Ensure that the teller station is properlystocked with forms, supplies and brochures.
• Answer incoming phone calls and member inquiries.
• Admit members to safe deposit boxes.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0-1 years of experience in a financial institution.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Intermediate mathematical skills.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use or learn a 10-key adding machine or keyboard.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
