Landmark Credit Union in Wisconsin seeks a full-time teller to provide efficient member services, process deposits and withdrawals, and maintain accurate cash handling with a balanced drawer.

Requires 1) a high school diploma, 2) cash handling or customer service experience preferred, and 3) strong verbal and written communication skills to assist members and collaborate with the team.

• May train to verify checks for other tellers.
• May train to perform overrides.
• May be cross-trained to help in other positions within the branch.
• Attends training at headquarters or off-site as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Being bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish, is preferred. This 40 hr/week position requires working weekday shifts and every other Saturday.

BRANCH HOURS

• Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Friday, 8:30 AM to 6 PM
• Saturday, 9 AM to 1 PM

NATURE AND SCOPE

Performs transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy. Provides cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Presents and explains a basic number of credit union products and services to members. Represents the credit union in a positive and professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1. High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2. Previous work experience with cash handling or customer service preferred.
• 3. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• 4. Must have experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job.
• 5. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related State and federal laws and regulations.
• 6. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• 1. Provides friendly, courteous, and expedient teller and other related services to members resulting in a balanced cash drawer daily.
• 2. Cross-sells other member services.
• 3. Processes mail deposits and withdrawals.
• 4. May assist in balancing the ATM (if not performed by an outside source).
