We are seeking a detail-oriented and member-focused Teller to join our team. As a Teller, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing exceptional service while handling financial transactions accurately and efficiently. Your role will be crucial in building strong member relationships and promoting our financial services.

Duties

• Open, close, and update member accounts.
• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain cash drawer and ensure proper cash management practices are followed.
• Assist members with account inquiries and provide information about financial products and services.
• Utilize member relationship management skills to enhance member satisfaction and retention.
• Perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy in transactions and cash handling.
• Handle cash register operations, including balancing the drawer at various times.
• Assist with ATM replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and internal policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong member service skills with a focus on relationship management.
• Proficient in basic math and financial math concepts.
• Experience in cash management or cash register operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with financial services and products is a plus.
• Ability to type efficiently using a 10 key typing method for transaction processing.
• Previous experience in sales or financial sales environments is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accuracy in all transactions.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Ability to work at both Woodbridge and Manassas Branches.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Available to work Monday-Friday- 7:45 AM-5:15 PM and Saturday- 8:45 AM-1:15 PM.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
