Job summary

Storage Asset Management is seeking a Store Manager to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service at our Chester, VA locations. You’ll lead tours, market our self-storage services, and maintain a pristine facility while mentoring assistants and coordinating rent collections.

You’ll engage with the local community, participate in events, and implement marketing plans to grow occupancy. A high school diploma and reliable transportation are required; weekends availability is a must.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and marketing is a plus.
• Proven management/leasing/retail/operations background.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Be the sales champion, converting inquiries into rentals.
• Lead facility tours to showcase features and benefits.
• Maintain a clean, well-maintained facility and conduct daily inspections.
• Execute marketing plans and participate in local events.
• Mentor assistant managers and supervise staff.
• Manage rent collections and maintain accurate records.

As Store Manager, you'll be more than a manager; you'll be a sales and customer service expert. You'll proactively recommend and execute marketing strategies based on competitor insights and seasonal trends. Additionally, you'll actively engage with the local community by attending local events, expanding your network, and generating valuable leads.

Requirements:
