Job summary

ALDI USA in Grand Prairie, Texas, is seeking a Store Associate to merchandise, stock, cashier, and keep the store clean. You will enhance the customer shopping experience by working with the ALDI team and delivering exceptional service.

The role is full-time with average 30+ hours per week and starting wage of $18.50 per hour. Wage increases occur yearly through Year 5, with potential higher earnings as tenure grows.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
• Ability to interpret store policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles.
• Informs management of loss due to damaged/outdated products.
• Uses POS system to scan and process purchases; reports scanning issues.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Supports opening additional lanes for efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and merchandises displays per planograms.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and on time.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assists management in achieving total loss goals.
• Follows company policies and safety guidelines.
