Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate in Manhattan, KS. This full-time role averages 30+ hours weekly and starts at $18.00 per hour with scheduled increases to $20.00 over five years.

You will merchandise, stock, cashier, and keep the store clean while delivering strong customer service and teamwork with the ALDI team. Responsibilities include handling POS transactions, stocking shelves, processing curbside pickups, and maintaining standards.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service is required.
• Ability to interpret ALDI policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process purchases and reports errors.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists management in achieving operational efficiency and total loss goals.
• Maintains a safe working environment and proper equipment maintenance.
• Follows inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
