You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team and follow company policies to maintain safe, efficient operations.

The role requires physical tasks, ability to lift up to 45 pounds, and availability for full-time hours averaging 30+ per week. Starting wage is $19.50/hour with scheduled increases over five years.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks within timeframes.
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Works with POS system to scan and process purchases and reports scanning concerns or errors to management.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required to ensure an efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and ensures timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Complies with all company policies and processes.
• Supports safety by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
