Job summary

Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA invites a Sterile Processing Tech I to join the Esplanade Campus. The role handles decontamination, packaging and sterilization of instruments, and prepares supplies for the Operating Room.

Under supervision of perioperative staff, you will maintain safety standards, assist with room turnover, inventory control, and training of new employees. The position is full-time PM shift, 8 hours, with competitive pay and a strong emphasis on compassionate patient-centered

Qualifications

• One year of experience in sterile processing functions.
• Familiarity with basic anatomy, physiology or medical terminology.
• Proficient in professional communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, package, sterilize, handle and store sterile instruments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Sterile Processing area.
• Assist with room turnover, stocking, and supply replenishment for surgery.
• Train new staff and support perioperative teams as needed.
