Job summary

Qualifications

• Maine CHRC fingerprinting and background check required by state law.
• Active CDL license with S and P endorsements.
• Must pass a pre-employment DOT physical exam and drug test.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance (snow removal, landscaping, carpentry, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Split shift: morning and afternoon bus runs (4 hours total) plus custodial duties (4 hours).
• Keep assigned bus clean and fueled; perform cleaning of designated building area.

Spruce Mountain Middle School

Description

This position is split shift, morning and afternoon bus runs (4 hours) with night shift custodial duties (4 hours). You are required to keep your bus clean and fueled. Custodial duties will include a specific portion of the building as determined by your supervisor. These duties will include, but are not limited to; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Lifting is required, previous experience is helpful, but not necessary.

• (8 hours / day, 260 days per year)

Qualifications

• Maine State Law requires all school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) For more information please visit: https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert/fingerprinting
• Must have an active CDL drivers license with S and P endorsements
• Must pass a pre-employment DOT physical exam and drug test
