Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to assess and treat speech, language and swallowing disorders in an acute rehabilitation setting. You will develop and implement therapy plans, educate patients and families, and document progress as part of an interdisciplinary team in Arlington, TX.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, current SLP license and ASHA certification, CPR certification, and strong communication and clinical

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Rehab or Acute experience preferred.
• Current SLP license and ASHA certification required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Strong communication skills and clinical judgement required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develops and implements treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provides education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Documents evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
