Park Manor of McKinney in McKinney, TX, is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab program. The role focuses on screening, evaluation, and delivering rehabilitative treatment for patients with communication and swallowing needs.

The ideal candidate holds an SLP license, is comfortable working within a geriatric post-acute setting, and can document discharge summaries while collaborating with families and care providers.

Qualifications

• SLP license is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, developing care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, transferring and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan—manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other service providers.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
