Job summary

Vantage at Andover is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to plan, develop and direct Speech services in accordance with federal and state standards, ensuring quality resident care at all times.

The position requires evaluating residents, planning care, documenting thoroughly, and collaborating with the rehab team to support communication needs while adhering to HIPAA and PPS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
• Current licensure or CFY/CCC eligibility required.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement and evaluate speech therapy services.
• Assess residents appropriate to age of patient and plan care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and department records.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper discharge planning.
• Collaborate with rehab team to support resident care programs.
• Maintain professional growth and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Manage caseload and schedule individual or group therapy sessions.
• Provide resident, family and caregiver education for discharge continuity.
