Job summary

Houston Physicians Hospital in Houston, TX is seeking a Full Time Speech/Language Pathologist to deliver evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for patients, collaborating closely with physicians and care teams. You will design and implement treatment programs, document progress in patient records, educate patients and caregivers, and contribute to a high-standard patient care environment.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology curriculum.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication with patients and physicians.
• Excellent organizational skills and accurate documentation for billing purposes.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and Electronic Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered speech and language therapy as prescribed by the physician.
• Conduct evaluations, design and supervise treatment programs, and update patient records.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate documentation to ensure correct billing and timely claims.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure a safe, clean facility.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Participate in facility in-service activities and educational services.
