Responsibilities

• Check with the teacher for instructions and work with small groups or individuals.
• Assist students with remedial and enrichment activities.
• Reinforce the teacher's instructional objectives and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Offer help when students need assistance while avoiding intrusion.
• Support inclusive education and help students with disabilities participate in activities.
• Assist with student mobility and use of assistive devices.
• Position students to maximize learning and equipment use.
• Follow prescribed medical plans and assist with personal hygiene as trained.
• Uphold board policies and procedures.
• Promote a favorable image of the service center and partnerships.
