Haverhill Public Schools Consentino Middle School in Haverhill, MA is seeking an Educational Support Personnel – Special Education. The role assists teachers in implementing IEP goals, supports students in academics, social skills, ADL tasks, and behavior plans, and uses Google Meets/Classroom for instruction.

The successful candidate will work under teachers and special education staff to provide a positive, inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the Para Pro Test or other state approved assessment, or 48 college credits.
• Associate Degree or equivalent as a minimum educational credential.
• Willingness to follow directions and cooperate with staff; bilingual preferred.
• Mobility to move in a school environment, including stairs and classrooms.

Responsabilités

• Under supervision of a certified teacher, prepare classroom activities aligned to IEP goals.
• Assist with instructional support across academics, social skills, and ADL tasks.
• Provide positive role models and reinforce learning behaviors.
• Support behavior interventions and safety plans; participate in required trainings.
• Use Google Meets/Google Classroom for in-person and virtual instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBA/RBT, and other staff to support student progress.
