Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide in Los Alamos, NM to support students requiring instructional and behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and teachers.

This full-time contract position offers $24 per hour for 37.50 hours per week, with benefits including health, dental, vision and life insurance, a 401(k) savings plan and weekly paychecks. Applicants must meet all federal, state and local requirements and be at least 18.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department and teachers.
• Provides support services for personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals.
