Qualifikationen

• High school graduate with technical training in special education.
• DPI certification provided by employee.
• CPR, non-violent crisis intervention, and first aid certification.
• Must meet NCLB standards: 2 years of college, associate degree, or demonstrable instructional ability.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Maintains a safe learning atmosphere for students to enable them to meet or surpass their capabilities.
• Supports and facilitates all IEP/504 goals/plans and collects related data.
• Facilitates inclusion and promotes acceptance of differences among students and staff.
• Leads small groups and one-on-one instruction under teacher guidance.
• Facilitates student accommodations on assignments and tests.
• Provides student supervision across educational environments.
• Prepares and maintains notes, plans, and materials for substitutes.
