POSITION SUMMARY:

Our team is seeking a detail-oriented Spa Attendant to provide courteous service and information to our guests, while maintaining a pristine facility. It is the responsibility of the Spa Attendant to meet high standards of guest service while keeping the environment clean and relaxing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Greeting guests in a professional manner and anticipating their needs.
2. Understanding the services offered.
3. Maintaining cleanliness of the facility.
4. Monitoring laundry needs, ensuring robes, towels, washcloths, linens, and sandals are washed, sanitized, and stored properly.
5. Tracking daily spa supply needs.
6. Preparing the spa for opening and closing as directed by management.
7. Performing all other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months’ related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic math skills for reporting supply needs.
• Common sense and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer skills for scheduling and communication.
• Teamwork, prioritization, sense of urgency, and guest satisfaction focus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regular walking, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasionally sitting and working on a computer.

Physical conditions include exposure to wet/humid environments, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. Noise level is usually quiet.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

Tasks are performed under supervision with well-defined policies. Limited independent judgment is exercised.
