Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a full-time Sous Chef at Eurest in Tewksbury, MA to support the Executive Chef by preparing and cooking foods and coordinating kitchen staff. You will ensure production standards, meet deadlines, and maintain food safety while helping deliver high-quality service.

The role requires food service experience (training provided) along with the ability to supervise cooks, manage inventories, and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction during peak meal periods.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates; interviews, schedules, payroll, training, counseling, reviews, and disciplinary actions as appropriate.
• Stores food in designated areas following all sanitation procedures.
• Maintains proper food handling, presentation, and serving temperatures.
• Keeps workstation clean and ensures display equipment is clean during service.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints and relays information to supervisor.
