Job summary

Hilton Greenville is seeking a friendly Bellperson to assist guests with luggage, provide airport shuttle pickups/drop-offs, and help with check-in and check-out experiences. The role requires an active driver's license and the ability to lift luggage if needed, with a focus on safety and courtesy.

You will greet guests, explain hotel facilities, maintain the lobby and baggage area, and coordinate with front desk across shifts.

Qualifications

• Active driver's license required and ability to pass motor vehicle background inspections.
• Frequent lifting of guest luggage is required.
• Assist guests with luggage, airport pickups/drop-offs, check-in/check-out and parking vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform pick ups and drop-offs at the airport for guests in a timely and friendly manner and inspect vehicles.
• Explain hotel facilities, hours of operation, and answer questions about these facilities and other hotel questions.
• Check luggage for hotel guests for day and overnight.
• Maintain the designated station in the lobby, standing alert to be easily summoned for fronts.
• Open doors and greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bell stand, lobby and baggage room. Keep lobby door and windows clean when not busy with guests.
• Maintain an open communication line through all shifts by proper use of intershift log.
• Deliver messages and valet to guest rooms.
• Show guests to room assisting them with their luggage, as needed.
• May perform the duties of a guest room valet as required.
• Assist front desk with key inventory as needed.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
