Job summary

Chick-fil-A Wayne Towne Center is seeking a Shift Leader to support the leadership team in shift management for 15+ team members, supervising assigned areas and possibly opening or closing the restaurant. You will coach the team to deliver remarkable service and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires leadership experience, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to Chick-fil-A’s values. Candidates should be 18+ and able to work 40+ hours in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
• Ensure weights and measurements are accurate for all recipe items.
• Maintain pace to meet the restaurant's speed of service guidelines.
• Keep workstations clean at all times.
• Follow cash handling procedures and hold cashiers accountable to policies.
• Monitor dining room, restrooms, parking lot and overall facility cleanliness.
• Perform tasks as needed throughout shift.
• Address guest issues and consult management for complex issues.
• Communicate employee performance and policy violations to management.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures.

At Chick-fil-A, Shift Leaders are responsible for assisting the leadership team in all aspects of shift management (of 15+ team members) and ensuring that our vision of each restaurant guest experiencing remarkable service comes to life through effective team coaching. Shift Leaders are responsible for supervising assigned areas for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant; following established opening and closing procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensures that Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
• Ensures that Team Members are extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items.
• Ensures that Team Members work at a pace to maintain restaurant's established speed of service guidelines.
• Ensures that workstations are clean at all times.
• Ensures that cashiers follow cash handling procedures at all times.
• Executes proper security and cash handling and control procedures and holds cashiers accountable to adhering to policies and procedures.
• Ensures that Team Members monitor dining room, restroom, parking lot and overall facility cleanliness.
• Perform any of the tasks above as needed throughout shift.
• Addresses guest issues that may arise; consults with management regarding complex issues.
• Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
• Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling.
• Strictly adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
