Job summary

LCB Senior Living is seeking a full-time Housekeeper at The Residence at South Windsor Farms in South Windsor, CT. The role runs weekday 7:00a - 3:00p with weekends included; wage band $17.50 - $19.50 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, maintaining clean facilities, and supporting team duties. Benefits start from day one, including health, vision, dental, 401k, PTO and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• The ability to maintain a clean and neat environment is required.
• Knowledge of cleaning practices and substances is required.
• The ability to identify cleaning needs and safety hazards is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers and the surrounding community.
• Interact positively with potential residents, family members and professionals to grow community occupancy.
• Thoroughly cleaning the bathrooms: toilet, vanity, sink, shower, and floor with cleaning solution.
• Clean kitchen areas completely; wipe counters and under objects, mop kitchen floors.
• Empty wastebaskets and replace bags.
• Dust and polish all surfaces.
• Wipe surfaces; windowsills, woodwork and counters.
• Clean carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, disinfecting.
• Clean all common areas and bathrooms daily or as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping carts in clean, orderly condition.
• Attend required in-service training and orientations.
• Remove, fold and return bed linens; wash and fold linens.
• Cleans and washes windows; cleans and dusts blinds.
• General outside pickup as needed.
• Other duties as requested.
