Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Personnel Screener in West Palm Beach, FL. You will monitor access points, screen individuals and belongings, and report security concerns at a government location. This role emphasizes visible presence, professional communication, and adherence to site procedures.

You will operate screening equipment, verify IDs and access, and maintain logs. The position requires 3+ years of related experience or a college degree, with CPR and licenses

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct entry screening of persons and belongings.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, and access credentials; direct to entry points or staff.
• Respond calmly to alarms, incidents, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain screening logs and reports and communicate concerns to leadership or law enforcement.
