Qualifications

• Two years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen are required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials, and document activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel and completing reports.
• Maintain daily activity logs and communicate observations and concerns to leadership.
