Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Support in Irving, TX. You will serve and safeguard clients across healthcare settings, performing unarmed patrols, enforcing access control, and delivering exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

The role requires 1+ year of security experience, a HS diploma or equivalent, and a background check with a drug screen. Day/evening schedules are provided, and driving positions require a license.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, clinical areas, parking locations, and surrounding grounds.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, parking inquiries, and policy compliance.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.
