Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for a Montgomery, AL caseload. This 1.0 FTE role supports evaluation, diagnosis and therapy planning for students in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Alabama ASHA certification is required.
• Alabama Educator SLP Certificate is required or candidate may start with pending.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts evaluation of students with communicative disorders.
• Evaluates and diagnoses speech and language disorders.
• Develops and implements individualized education plans to meet student needs.
• Develops appropriate service delivery models to meet student needs.
• Refers students to other professionals and agencies.
• Collaborates with classroom teachers to ensure carry-over of therapy gains.
• Maintains student records and progress.
• Communicates program developments and student progress to administrators.
