Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is seeking a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based caseload in Tarrant, AL. You will evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders, develop individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with educators and families to support student communication skills.

Expect up to $45/hour with a 0.8 FTE schedule, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama State SLP license required.
• Alabama Professional Educator Certificate with endorsement in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts evaluation of students with communicative disorders and diagnoses speech and language disorders.
• Develops and implements individualized education plans for students receiving therapy services.
• Collaborates with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure carryover of communication skills in classroom settings.
• Maintains student records and reports progress to administrators and families.
• Coordinates services with other school programs and participates in ongoing professional growth.
