Job summary

BASIS Chandler Primary North is seeking a Full-Time Monitor to start ASAP. The role focuses on monitoring student activities during meals, recess, and after-school programs, ensuring safety and orderly conduct within the school environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or higher and an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, with preferred experience in a school or child care setting. BASIS Ed offers competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Experience in a school or child care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students to ensure safety.
• Oversee students' behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before/after school.
• Report any unruly behavior to school management.
• Inform supervisor of any damages to school property.
• Respond to emergencies with urgency.
• Exercise sound judgement in carrying out duties.
• Assist in front office support, as applicable.
• Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance.
• Supervise individual students and/or groups during structured and unstructured times.
