Job summary

BASIS Tucson North is seeking a Full-Time Monitor to join our bright, passionate team. The Monitor will oversee student activities, safety during lunch, recess, and before/after school programs, and report incidents to management.

Required: High school diploma or higher and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Preferred: previous experience in a school or child care setting. BASIS Ed offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Experience in a school or child care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students to ensure safety.
• Oversee students’ behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before/after school.
• Report any unruly behavior to school management.
• Inform supervisor of any damages to school property.
• Respond to emergency situations with urgency.
• Exercise sound judgement in carrying out duties.
• Assist in front office support, as applicable.
• Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance.
• Supervise individual students or groups during structured and unstructured times.
