Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in painting field.
• Education/certification: Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Special knowledge: painting trade materials, tools, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, cleaning).
• Apply paints with brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Mix paints to match colors and apply finishes.
• Stain, seal, and varnish wood surfaces.
• Set up scaffolding or ladders for above-ground work.
• Maintain records of materials and labor used.
• Inspect completed work and ensure area is clean.
• Coordinate with principals and supervisors on project timelines.
