Winthrop Public School District Winthrop High School in Winthrop, MA is seeking a Junior Custodian to work under supervision of the School Operations Manager or Senior Building Custodian. The position is paid per the current union contract and starts immediately.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms and hallways, performing general facility maintenance, addressing staff and student needs, adhering to security policies, and following daily custodial checklists.

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

• Keep all buildings clean and in proper working order, including classrooms and hallways.
• Perform proper maintenance of school buildings and facilities and grounds maintenance.
• Address staff and student needs and issues as they arise.
• Keep current with school security policies and procedures.
• Follow maintenance/custodial checklist for daily duties.
• Occasionally monitor heating boilers and other systems, such as cooling systems, controls temperature; move furniture and deliver supplies.
