Qualifications

• Reads and understands cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
• Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building/grounds maintenance
• Operates cleaning equipment and lifts heavy equipment
• Handles cleaning supplies safely
• No formal education required

Responsibilities

• Maintain a cleaning schedule for floors, boards, wastebaskets, windows, furniture, equipment and restrooms
• Keep buildings and grounds neat and clean including sidewalks, driveways and play areas
• Assist in maintaining cleaning supplies inventory and request more as needed
• Assist with lunchroom setup and minor building repairs as directed
• Regulate HVAC to maintain comfortable, economical temperatures
• Assist in setting up facilities for special events
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions promptly
