FLIK Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker at Cheshire Academy, Cheshire, CT 06410. Schedule includes Sundays 11:30 am–7:30 pm, and Tue/Thu plus Mon/Wed shifts with varying times. Previous food service experience is required.

Pay ranges from $17.00 to $17.35 per hour, with benefits including meals and uniforms. The role involves food prep, serving, sanitation, safety compliance, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays safely between stations.
• Stores food with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
