Qualifications

• Valid Mississippi Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements.
• Valid Mississippi School Bus Driver Certificate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must attend and pass a basic First Aid course annually.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obey all traffic laws for school buses and drive within speed limits.
• Maintain discipline on the bus and manage boarding and unloading.
• Inspect bus daily and report any mechanical issues.
• Transport only authorized students on assigned routes.
• Report accidents immediately to Transportation Supervisor.
• Follow safety regulations and district policies.
• Operate on assigned schedule per district calendar.

Education

Must be at least 18 years of age
