First Student, Inc. is hiring full-time School Bus Drivers in Brooklyn, NY. You will transport students safely to and from school, supervise boarding, and maintain order on the bus. Training is provided and the role offers a sign-on bonus and benefits.

Flexible full-time schedule with AM/PM routes; no nights, weekends, or summers required in many locations. DOT safety compliance and English proficiency are required.

Formación

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Looking for a part-time schedule and summers off.
• Enjoy working with students.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts.
• Maintain order on the bus and prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, etc.
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.
