Job summary

First Student in Brooklyn, NY is seeking full-time School Bus Drivers to start and end each school day with safe student transport. The position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, $26.00 per hour, and paid training to become a certified driver.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Ability to supervise and assist students on/off the bus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues and keep the bus clean.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents and school staff as needed.
