Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our school team for the 2026-2027 school year in Hendricks County, Indiana. This on-site role offers the opportunity to impact students' communication skills and overall success.

The position runs from 09/08/2026 to 05/28/2027, is full-time (40 hours/week), and requires collaboration with educators, parents, and staff to develop IEPs/504 Plans and provide direct therapy.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana state license to practice as an SLP.
• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Experience working in a school environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to student needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders.
• Conduct screenings and use standardized assessments to evaluate articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication.
• Develop and implement individualized plans such as IEPs or 504 Plans for students with communication needs.
• Provide therapy for speech sound issues, stuttering, language delays, voice problems, and social communication challenges.
• Support students with augmentative and alternative communication devices when necessary.
