Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year in Dearborn, Michigan. This full-time, on-site role offers guaranteed hours, dedicated planning time, and a supportive team from TheraPeds and the school district.

You will provide school-based services to students, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and families. The position emphasizes evaluating and supporting articulation, language, and social communication, with a manageable

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Active Michigan licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Current ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, and school-based service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and intervention plans.
• Address articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social/pragmatic communication, and other communication needs.
• Conduct evaluations and reevaluations and interpret assessment results.
• Collect data, monitor progress, and complete progress reports.
• Develop IEP documentation and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related-service providers.
• Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support student communication.
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate service records.
